Play the Games
All games in the Stanley “Frankfurter” Jones series can be downloaded free of charge, directly from this website. They are also available on itch.io. Donations accepted but not required. You can also find some of my games on gamejolt, and probably a few other platforms I uploaded them to and then forgot about.
The next installment in the SFJ series is currently in development. If you would like to motivate me to work faster, you may do so by clicking the button below.

This game is currently in development. Takes place directly after the events of Frank Further. In the meantime, you may play this short demo. If you would like up-to-date info on the development of the game, access to new demos, alpha builds, etc, please consider supporting me.
Help / Troubleshooting
If you get stuck on any of my games or need help getting them running, please check this list before using the contact form or posting a comment. This section will be periodically updated to address commonly reported problems.
Why is the resolution so tiny?
Some users encounter an issue where the game will run in its native resolution (320×240 for SFJ-1, 800×600 for SFJ-2 & 3) instead of fullscreen, even when in fullscreen mode, resulting in a very, very tiny game screen surrounded by a huge black border. This is an issue with the AGS engine and the way it renders on Windows, and the solution will vary depending on your individual setup. It is frustrating but generally easy to fix. Included in the download is a file called “winsetup.exe” which controls display settings for the AGS engine. Under Graphics Settings, ensure that “Run in a window instead of full screen” is not checked. If this is not the problem, use the Driver pulldown to switch graphics drivers and try again. If this does not fix the problem, look at the Filter pulldown. If it is set to “None,” try setting it to “Max Nearest Neighbour Filter.” If this doesn’t fix it, cycle through the different filters until you find one that works, or try “None” if none of them work. If you have tried all of this and still can’t get the game to display correctly, it is likely a conflict between AGS and your specific Windows configuration; you will need to either seek help on the AGS technical forums or consult a priest.
I need a walkthrough

I think I found a bug
I try to test my games as thoroughly as possible, but I do make mistakes from time to time, occasionally some really huge ones. If a game is crashing or otherwise behaving strangely, and you are absolutely certain it is a technical issue with the game and not simply you getting stuck on a puzzle, please use the contact form to submit a bug report. Put “ANIME TIDDIES” followed by a short description of the problem you encountered in the subject line. It is important that the phrase “ANIME TIDDIES” appears somewhere in your subject line. This is my way of making sure that people submitting bug reports took the time to read through this troubleshooting section first before grousing to me. Bug reports that do not have the phrase “ANIME TIDDIES” in the subject line will be ignored. Please do not file multiple reports for the same issue.
In the message field, please include the title of the game you were playing, a detailed description of where you were and what you were doing when the issue happened, and, if relevant, the text of any system error messages you encountered (this will only happen if the game actually crashes). If you would like a reply, please use a real email address in the email field as this will be my only way of getting back to you; otherwise, you can just put whatever in that field.
Reports that do not follow these instructions will most likely be ignored. Repeat violators and/or people who spam the contact form will have their email added to the NAMBLA mailing list.
I’m stuck on X, please help me
When in doubt, check your journal; sometimes it will contain something you missed. If you’re still having trouble, each game has a built-in help system for getting past certain difficult puzzles.
In SFJ-1, the help system can be accessed by using the cell phone to call Nancy back at the office. In SFJ-2, the help system is accessed by calling Stanley using the mirror.
Seriously, this password puzzle is bullshit
If you’re stuck on the SFJ-2 password puzzle, there’s a helpful hint in the PDF manual that came with the game. You did read the manual, didn’t you?
and if you’re really stuck…
typing the phrase “how do I hack computer?” into the terminal will explain how to solve the puzzle.
Miscellaneous

This section is for other titles I’ve worked on, as well as quasi-functional builds of aborted projects, work-in-progress stuff I may get back to at some point, and other assorted bric-a-brac. Most of this junk is buggy as hell, and quality is in no way shape or form guaranteed, but you’re welcome to sift through it if you like. Enjoy.
Frasier Crane: Seattle Rampage (short game)
This is a comedy-horror fangame set in the Frasier universe, and it is exactly as ridiculous as that description would imply. It was made for some long-forgotten game jam I participated in, around 2016 I think. The jam allowed only two weeks to create and upload an entire game; considering the time crunch I think this came out nicely. At some point I would like to remake it with better puzzles, better graphics and an expanded story.
Stanley “Frankfurter” Jones: The Case of the Missing Butt (WIP)
An on-hold project I started around 2014-ish. The idea was to make a “spinoff” game in the SFJ series set outside the timeline of the main story. Like the other SFJ titles it was created using the AGS engine; however, this game is done in a first-person style similar to Myst, The Last Express, The Journeyman Project, etc. You play as an unnamed agent working for the FBI under Stanley’s supervision. I created a basic navigation system, one room, and an introductory tutorial, and then promptly lost interest in the project. However, replaying this and discovering that it came out better than I remember, I think it’s something I’d like to get back to, possibly once Frank Furtherther is done. In the meantime, you can play the basic tutorial if you like.
Untitled Horror Project (WIP)
This game never really made it past the basic idea stage, but it was probably one of the more ambitious things I’ve ever attempted to do in AGS. When I was in high school, I tried to make a knockoff of The 7th Guest using HyperCard; this was basically a continuation of that idea. It’s a first-person game, featuring 3D-rendered stills and FMV transitions. The entire haunted mansion environment was built using an ancient piece of software called Bryce 3D; this project was ultimately abandoned when I discovered how laborious and time consuming it is to build an FMV game out of pre-rendered stills. All that currently exists is a basic navigation system that allows the player to walk around most of the house. I’m also not sure if the decision to render everything in black and white was the right move. I might return to this project at some point.
The Life and Death of Fyodor Dostoyevsky (abandoned)
This was… you know what? I honestly don’t remember when I started working on this or why, but I did get quite a ways into it before abandoning the project. iirc it was the second or third game I attempted to make when I first started playing with AGS around 2009-10. The code is an absolute disaster and I don’t remember where I wanted the story to go originally, so there is very little chance of this game ever being finished. It is noteworthy because it is the only AGS title I’ve ever worked on where I didn’t compose my own soundtrack; the music for this was blatantly plundered from the Ken Burns Jazz CD box set, along with a few other random tracks I had on my computer at the time.
I don’t currently have a working build of this game, but I know for a fact I still have the AGS project and all the resources on one of my old computers. I am creating this stub in the meantime, and will upload the files once I have them.
