Latest News:

6/27/12 - At long last, the new album from Styop Quoons, Judge, Judy, & Executioner, is completed and ready for purchase. Please buy at least five thousand copies and encourage your friends to do the same. The album features 14 all-new Styop Quoons tracks, including the single This Delicious Ooze, which was featured on the Fawmtronica podcast in February. It also features a collaboration with Mike Skliar, a noted multi-instrumentalist and snerky New York liberal type. His FAWM album is worth a listen as well, by the way.

4/24/12 - Couple of things: Episode two of muffinCast has officially gone public, despite some production setbacks. In it is, of course, the latest installment of Songs That Didn't Need to be Covered...or Did They (which is also available here. In addition to this, the podcast also includes the first installment of The Road to Hana: Act II, which many of you have been diligently awaiting for...oh, about two years now. Each podcast will include a new episode, so be sure to subscribe if you haven't already. Also, Styop Quoons would like to announce that work has officially begun on a video game of The Road to Hana, which will be released as short serial installments via this website. More info to come.

4/7/12 - At long last, muffinCast is upon us! The first-ever installment of Muffin's official podcast is now available for subscription on iTunes, or also by clicking right here.

3/8/12 - FAWM '12 was a partial success! Styop Quoons is pleased to announce the completion of as many as eight new tracks, which will form the basis of a new album, entitled Judge, Judy, and Executioner, to be released at the end of this month. Quoons has also announced that with the completion of FAWM, his bi-weekly cover song project, will resume, with mention of a possible podcast in the works.

11/23/11 - After a lengthy hiatus, Sir Runcible Spoone has announced that he is once again drawing "What's Up Bro?" comics. There are two new ones currently available under projects/comics/what's up bro. Promises of new issues a couple of times a week have also been made. Let us all wait with our fingers crossed.

11/2/11 - I noticed there were a few things wrong with the site, so I've attempted to correct them, namely a few links that weren't working properly. Also, I've finally gotten around to adding a SongFight page, so now you can not only hear the latest SF entries from MUFFIN, you can also peruse our extensive archive of past entries. If you are a follower of SF, you may just be surprised to discover which songs have been Muffin artists. Or, you may not even be remotely surprised at all. Or, you may not even care at all. Whatever. It's there now.

10/13/11 - Alright, so, as you can see, Muffin is once again up and running. As you also probably noticed, we are .net now. The deal was, I had the old domain registered with godaddy, and it was set to auto-renew every year on my credit card. However, turns out that my card expired, I forgot to update it with them, and I lost the domain. Then, they decided to park one of those stupid ad sites at the domain, then try to argue that the domain was "taken" when I tried to get it back. Oh, they'd be willing to give it back to me all right - IF I was willing to shell out $70. Yup, that's right, 70 bucks to get my own fucking domain back, so I could resume paying the fuckers eight a month for it. You have to love capitalism sometimes. Speaking of capitalism, the new Styop Quoons EP is now officially for sale, and you can pick it up here. Five bucks and worth every penny. Also, we are now selling T-Shirts. Show your Muffin pride and be the envy of your neighborhood!

9/21/11 - So, if you're here, it means that either I gave you the link, you're a wizard, or you googled something that linked to here. Either way, you have found the new Muffin page! Although the site is not quite done yet, which you will soon discover by clicking a few links and noticing that nothing comes up, or that things link to the wrong places, this is the official unofficial release date of therealmuffin.net. And yes, we are .NET now, no longer .com, because GoDaddy fucked me over. I will probably rant on that some in the next news post once we're up and running for rizzle and people will actually read it. So, bye for now.

9/19/11 - As usual, the delay in the site's release is due mostly to procrastination on my part. Almost done, I think. Not exactly perfect in terms of coding and whatnot, but I figure I can just release it as-is once I'm finished typing up the content, and fine tune it later.

8/24/11 - New site is basically done. For those of you who were with us before, you may notice that it looks more or less the same as the old site, but I finally got around to getting rid of that clunky old table-based design and re-doing everything in CSS.
